{phantasmal}
the soul gazes out the window into the mysterious world,
and surmises that love will be the answer.
to lay idle and dream of the perfect love is easy,
believing you’re in a fairytale love story is quite befitting.
you contemplate what you feel and what you fancy,
and cleverly, manifest it within your lover.
this is the rigid, phantasmal state of lovers in the beginning.
refusing to accept the inevitable endings of a relationship,
is what causes most to fail.
there is the death of the honeymoon stage, the young love,
egotistical, validation seeking,
of wanting everything to be beautiful and beautiful only.
this is what separates lovers for a little time,
from lovers for a lifetime.
right now forever,
not
forever but just not right now.

A relationship is built on the strength found together in the toughest moments, not in the joy which is easily present during the best ones.
