{charred remains}

because no matter how beautiful a forest grows,

the aftermath of a forest fire

only shows the charred remains

of a past life.

    And …. A controlled burn leaves the forest in a much healthier position to move forward πŸŒ³πŸŒ΄πŸŒ²πŸŽ‹πŸŽ„πŸ’š. The charred remains last only until the next spring, which arrives, like clockwork, only months after the fire.
