Love this Ellie. There is nothing more beautiful than honesty. Without honesty, beauty fades. ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ”๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ”. Without honesty, love disappears.

Transparency is clearly beautiful! Unapologetic raw selves are beautiful!

And isn’t that interesting … in fact, it can work against the sale.
So here’s a ‘question of the week’: Why does raw/exposed make us so uncomfortable that we respond by pulling away? If we really want full transparency/honesty, then why do we so often reject it?

That’s a great question and I think we reject the truth simply because it’s our raw emotion and it hurts sometimes. We lie to keep the peace and protect others, which keeps them happy for at least the time being or forever possibly. It’s hard not to be upset or angry when you hear something that strikes a chord with you. Bad news is always bad news, and finding out a lie just makes bad news even worse.
